*Day Four*

I ACTUALLY said "no" to chocolate at work today. YIPEEEEE! It was a tough day food-wise at work for 3 big reasons. #1.There was a "going away cake" for someone leaving, #2. candy jars given to each and every worker as an office gift, and then finally #3. the beautiful chocorange slices were offerred around.

Well, well, I left the candy-jar on a table on the remote side of my office where visitors could help themselves easily but far enough away so that I would be "safe". I ate only the custard (about 1tbsp) and some jam (about 1/4 of a teaspoonfull) out of the middle of my cake slice - I let the cakey part and the icing part remain. And when the bearer of the chocorange came by I said "I can't because its *Day Four*" It was a woman, so I think she "got-it".

Breakfast: flax porridge and dried fruit. coffees.

lunch: spaghetti with carrots & salmon chunks on a bed of wilted greens.

supper: rice chicken dish with half a cup of applesauce for dessert.

weight:155 lbs I will not despair.

25min cardio, 12 triceps, 15 biceps, 50 crunches.

As I was driving home I thought about how people who lose all kinds of weight and are interviewed on tv commercials say things like "thanks Jenny Craig" or "thank you LA weightloss" I smiled and I thought that all I could say is "thank you Jesus" because the only things I have done differently this time is to read a daily devotional as part of my health plan, and to wear a bracelet with the John 3:16 verse inscribed as a "reminder" of my strength.

Miraculously, I am feeling no hunger or temptation to eat and no temptation to quit exercising what-so-ever. I have never gone more than one day before. And tommorrow is day 5.

"No" to chocolate? Better than I could ever do. That is super, you have to be happy about that :)

A lot of exercising going on, good luck with that. You certainly are motivated, wtg!

Omg, my posting name is different, what did I do now? I am NOT blogger savvy ... more changes. Let me go fix it, I hope, sheesh!
